1st Games
Panamericanos
Junior Cali-Valle 2021
The event was held for the first time in 2021 in Cali, where athletes aged 18 to 21 competed in 28 sports across 42 disciplines. Its goal: to encourage new generations, showcase new talent, and support the development of sports in youth categories, improving investment by different countries in young athletes through their participation in high-profile events.
The Tierra Posible Foundation contributed its expertise in promoting and disseminating the community-based social strategy. Through fun activities, recreational events, entertainers, and musical instruments, public participation in this major event was encouraged at venues in the sub-host cities and some municipalities of Valle del Cauca, as well as in parks, along the bike path, at government offices and decentralized agencies, educational institutions, public service facilities, and shopping centers. These activities featured a float carrying the Games’ official mascot, Pana, and kits were distributed containing items related to the so-called “Event of the Year.”
Similarly, a marketing and publicity strategy for the Games was developed across various media outlets.
